How to add content to your course (PT 1)

Hello and welcome. In this article, I will show you how to add content categories to a course/coaching program created using the MarketGee Course Tool.

After creating/adding a course, the next step will be to populate your course with actual content.

There are three content categories to help structure your course content. We have:

  • The main Category – This can be likened to course modules. Here you introduce learners to the actual content of the module.
  • A Post – This is where you go into detail
  • A Sub Category: As the name implies, a sub-module.

Let’s dive deep.

Step 1: Access the MarketGee Course Dashboard and click on the course you wish to populate with content (as shown below).

Step 2: Click on the “Add New Category” button to add a main category (That is, your first module).

Step 3: Fill in the pop up form accordingly and format to taste.

Step 4: Once that is done, click the “Submit” button.

And that’s it. You have successfully created your first module/chapter.

Note: You can follow the same process to add more modules to your course. And as you progress, feel free to click on the preview button to see how things look on the visitor’s end.

Add more modules and your dashboard will look pretty much like the screenshot below.
